MPMG Wins Western Canada Marketing & PR Award

Murray Paterson Marketing Group accepted Business in Vancouver‘s Western Canada Marketing & PR Award for ‘Best Use of Digital Ads’ at the Change in the Making Marketing Conference on April 5, 2017 in Squamish, BC. The award recognized the success of the multi-phase, multi-platform digital marketing campaign implemented for Bard on the Beach‘s 2016 Festival. 

The campaign utilized far-reaching display, social, and search advertising tactics to attract a demographically and geographically diverse audience of arts lovers and entertainment-goers to the Bard on the Beach website. Following their initial visit, sophisticated retargeting strategies were used to serve individuals a series of increasingly rich and nuanced creative, including behind-the-scenes glimpses, video trailers, and rave reviews from reputable critics. The end results was be millions of impressions, tens of thousands of site visitors, soaring returns on investment, and Bard on the Beach’s most successful season on record.

MPMG was also acknowledged as one of the top three finalists in the category of ‘Integrated Campaign Led by PR’ for our work promoting the return of STOMP, The International Percussion Sensation. This nomination recognizes the campaign’s successful combination of tactical advertising, publicity and community partnerships to generate buzz befitting the company’s fame and drive box office results.
