SHARING: MPMG Book Club Year One
A look at Rad Reads, and what we read this year.
As the first year of Rad Reads concludes, five books later, the MPMG team has grown incredibly close while discussing the themes and characters of novels we all related to in different ways.
Having covered topics of education, feminism, law, ethics, religion, health, and more, Rad Reads created a space for us to open up about their personal experiences and thoughts inspired by the books we read.
These five books stirred up our passions and frustrations, opening our eyes to the world in new ways.
As admiration for the power of words is something we all share in our work at MPMG, we were able to expand on topics that motivate our day to day advocacy for the arts, while enjoying each other’s company.
At the end of the day, what was truly rad about Rad Reads, was its ability to make us walk away more enlightened by each others’ unique insights and hard-won perspectives.
If you’re in a book club — or are inspired to join one — we’d love to hear your stories! Share with us on social media by using #RadReads.
